Coding in the Dark

The workshop is a  collaboration between SAVH, Tinkercademy and includED. 

Come find out how easy it is to learn coding even if you have low vision. This 30 minutes workshop is suitable for anyone to experience first hand how technology enables coding to happen easily.  Using the Swift Playgrounds app, you will explore unique lessons and discover how coding comes alive in any app development.

Place and Train (PnT) 
with iOS and Swift Pilot 2022

This Place and Train Pilot with iOS and Swift Pilot is a collaboration by FinTech Academy (FTA), Tinkercademy and includED which focuses on getting the people with autism job placement and contribute their talents in the infocomm fields.

We have successfully completed the 6 weeks of intensive training on 18 March 2022 and the 5 individuals have been settling well into their jobs.

includED supported a series of workshops for the caregivers organised and conducted by SPD Specialised Assistive Technology Centre.

Developing a Healthier Lifestyle with LumiHealth  (in collaboration with RSVP) 2021

includED in collaboration with RSVP organised an online webinar where the nutritionist shared simple and practical everyday tips on eating healthy. The talk also introduced the LumniHealth app and its personalised health programme where staying active, making healthier food choices, practising mindfulness and sleeping better all count towards earning rewards in your quest for better health.  

Digital Inclusion Festival 2019

Our team wore many different hats during the Digital Inclusion Festival. Together with partners like iStudio and Cochlear, we showcased how iOS devices can support physical interaction, hearing loss and low vision. We also had the pleasure to give stage talks and co-facilitated the workshops together with invited speakers on iOS Accessibility.

Silver Digital Talent 2019

includED supported the Silver Digital Talent 2019 organised by IMDA and NLB. This event reached out to the seniors to encourage them to explore digital creation – photography, video-editing and book creation.
